2D/3D地震模型和反演
STRATA是一套交互的2D/3D模型和反演的軟體，它將迭後的地震道轉換成波阻抗地震

括其它一些功能如地震處理，子波提取和井編輯等。所有的任務可在多個連接的窗口中完

處理和分析。在LOG MODELING子模組中對合成地震道集中的 樀型分析。以上兩個模組組
成了AVO套裝軟體。

ELOG
井編輯和合成地震記錄
ELOG套裝軟體是一個新的井編輯和合成地震記錄的軟體，它可以與AVO，STRATA和
EMERGE套裝軟體共用，也可以獨立運行。ELOG套裝軟體為其它的模型套裝軟體準備了所需
要的井數據。

EMERGE
多屬性分析預測油藏參數
EMERGE軟體的目的是利用地震屬性和（或）側井屬性的組合來預測油藏特徵。基本過
程是在井的位置處利用多線性遞歸和人工智慧神經網路技術對程式進行培訓。然後將找到
的關係應用到整個二維/三維地震數據中。得到的結果是一個新的數據體，數據體中的每
一道就是培訓過程中使用的測井曲線。可以預測孔隙度，電阻率或水飽和度等並且取得了
很好的結果。強有力的驗證過程可避免使用隨機的或假的關係。
EMERGE軟體預測油藏特徵超越了傳統地震反演的限制。我們不在只計算波阻抗和換算
成孔隙度等（利用經驗公式）。現在我們可以預測培訓數據中所擁有的任意測井曲線。我
們利用地震數據中提取的地震屬性而不是直接利用地震數據本身，這樣一來也可以利用迭
前數據。測井和地震數據間的關係不受預先假定的地質模型的影響。它們之間的關係是通
過統計的方法在井位置處得以確定，這種關係可以是線性的（多變遞歸）或非線性的（神
經網路技術）。

GEOSTAT
地質統計分析和成圖
在石油勘探中，我們的目的是製作各種圖件-構造圖、空隙度圖、物理參數圖等以便

用於製作這些圖件的數據來自於一系列資源如測井數據，地震數據，潛在的場數據等

2D/3D折射波靜效正
GLI3D是一套交互的軟體，可以從2D/3D地震數據中拾取和解釋初至並獲得近地表地質
模型。從這個模型中可以計算出靜效正值並把靜效正值應用到地震數據中以改進構造的準
確性和地震成像的質量。
對於數據採集的野外幾何系統或數據的分類排序沒有限制。它允許2D，3D或任意側線
都使用同一種算法，這樣可確保結果的一致性。


AVO is designed to analyze the fluid
content of reservoir rocks through a
combination of visual, analytical and
modeling processes of the seismic and
well data. The program provides an
intuitive capability to manage, display and
operate on seismic gather data for AVO
attribute generation and crossplotting.

ELOG is a comprehensive well log
editing and modeling tool designed to
prepare or create log data for use within
the Hampson-Russell suite of
applications. New and edited data can be
saved within the project, exported as new
well data or transferred through direct
binary links to third party applications.

EMERGE is designed to predict
reservoir properties using seismic
attributes and well log data. The
technique trains on target data at the well
locations using multi-linear and neural
network algorithms until an optimum
transform is derived. Cross-validation is
used to give confidence in the transform,
prior to its application to the whole
seismic volume. Any measured or
calculated logs such as porosity, density
or water-saturation, may be predicted and
the technique may also be applied in pure
log applications.

GLI3D is designed to pick and interpret
first breaks from 2D and 3D seismic data
sets. These are then used to build a near
surface geological model, which is
optimized using generalized linear and
tomographic inversion algorithms. The
optimum model is then used to calculate
refraction statics for subsequent
application to the seismic data in the
processing flow, thereby improving the
structural accuracy and eee quality.
This program is the defacto standard
within the seismic processing industry for
regions with difficult statics problems.

ISMAP is a geostatistical mapping tool
designed for comparison and statistical
analysis of mapped data sets. Customary
data inputs to the program are a
combination of dense, yet "fuzzy" data
such as seismic attribute extraction and
sparse, accurate data such as measured
well log data. The concept is that a new
map is generated which honors the sparse
measured data, while retaining the spatial
continuity of the denser data set.

PRO4D is a program that integrates all of
the key elements required for time lapse
seismic studies. It provides a well log
toolkit for fluid replacement modeling and
synthetic seismic generation, together
with seismic processing functionality. This
gives interactive display, comparison,
calibration and interpretation of 4D
seismic data volumes.

PROMC is a new software package
developed through an industry
consortium between 2001 and 2003. It
provides an integrated framework for the
interpretation and modeling of
multi-component seismic data. The
software makes the execution of everyday
tasks on multi-component data
straightforward through an easy-to-use
and intuitive work environment.

STRATA is a seismic inversion product
designed to transform post-stack seismic
volumes to impedance traces for lithology
and fluid determinations. Acousitc and
elastic impedance processes are
provided, utilizing various inversion
methods. All ancillary data manipulation
needs, such as wavelet extraction, log
correlation, model building and seismic
processing are included. Popular
S-inversion, LMR techniques and
coloured techniques are also available.

Column and row headers (for grid based layout managers) show the
structure of the layout (including column/row indices, alignment,
growing, grouping) and allow you to insert or delete columns/rows
and change column/row properties. It's also possible to drag and
drop columns/rows (incl. contained components and gaps). This
allows you to swap columns or move rows in seconds.

Localization support: Localizing forms using properties files has
never been easier. Specify a resource bundle name and a prefix for
keys when creating a new form and then forget about it.
JFormDesigner automatically puts all strings into the specified
resource bundle (auto-externalizing).

Java code generator or runtime library: Either let JFormDesigner
generate Java source code for your forms (the default) or use the
royalty-free runtime library to load JFormDesigner XML files at
runtime. Your choice.

Generation of nested classes: The Java code generator is able to
generate and update nested classes. You can specify a class name
for each component in your form. This allows you to organize your
source code in an object-oriented way.

The  above  eee  is a  normal Attribute Editor  Presets window

rendered  for  you  whenever  you  save a preset.

So Real..
Not Just for Hair and Grass You can actually  replace hairs  with
any geometry you can model.

Integrates with Maya's render and 2D post effects Shave's render,
built into  a volumetric plug-in,  obviously  integrates   tightly
with Maya's own. Unlike Maya Fur, it even supports  objects  with
transparency Additionally, it integrates with  Maya 2D post process
effects like depth of field.

Ray  Trace Effects  with the  Maya render (and other neat tricks)
Additionally, if you  want to  render the secondary  rays  with
Maya's  render, we  handle that as well. Just turn the option  on
and adjust  the detail  level. You'll actually see ray traced cast
shadows and  hair   will  show   up  reflections  and refractions.

Go Texture CRAAZY ..  The  above  swatches  are  just a  few of
Maya's  procedurals  applied  to  various channels, the combinations
are limitless. You  can  also  (obviously)  paint  these textures
too. Even animate them.

Texturing your  hairy object  all happens inside Maya, You can apply
any  kind of 2D/3D shader to  almost any  channel, you can  apply
textures,  even  separate  UV sets.  You  can  Even  texture dynamics
properties like Stiffness or Dampening.

DISPLACEMENT PARAMETERS
Before (or after)  you've even  touched a hair guide or a brush tool,
you can apply displacement parameters which can  have a great deal
of effect on the  hair's look. Using  mult/splay/friz/kink  we  make
the same set of hair  go from  wet to  dry in the above sample.

GUIDE FIELDS
Shave  works  from  a 3  dimensional flow field bounded  by something
called 'hair guides' (left).  When guides  are emitted from a surface
( nurb  or poly),  a whole  field of them are created. The  number of
guides relate directly  to the  number of CV's in the emitting surface.
They define the general shape of the hair.

The  actual  hair  (right), which  can be previewed at lower counts in
the viewer, is  an  even   distribution  across   the emission surface,
and  has nothing  to do with how many guides you  have. Initially the
hair   is  grown   as  a   straight interpolation  of  the  guides,
and then displaced  by  parameters such  as 'kink' and 'frizz'.

SMOOTH DENSITY
Our  density   equalizer  balances   hair population  so  that
regardless  of  the density  of  the  underlying  surface  or number
of guides, you still get a uniform  distribution of hair as  a base
line. If you want to fiddle with that  balance you can  assign  maps
and  shaders  to   our density channel. Unlike  other solutions, we do
a world-space  barycentric lookup, which is just  a fancy  way of
saying it doesn't  require  special  UV's  and will work on  polygons,
nurbs  , or  any other type of surface emitter.

SPLINE MODE
An  other  types of  guides are  ' spline guides'. For each Maya
spline  you select, Shave creates a duplicate guide.  Hair is then
evenly  interpolated  between  the guides  (above) , interpolation
can be turned  off as well.

THE BRUSH TOOL & RECOMB
Combing hair is quick and easy.  With the brush tool and ?recomb ',
brushing along complicated  contours  is   as  easy   as petting a
dog (the above example was just a few interactive strokes of the tool).

STYLING INTERFACE
Creating  so  many  guides  assures  good local control on  hair
shape,  and steady dynamics. But controlling and  combing so many
guides  comes with  it's challenges too,  which  is why  we include
a custom interface just for combing. Each little guide is actually
a kinematic chain,  it  can  either  be  modeled into place, it can
be just sha ken  around, or it can  be dragged  en-masse with  a
soft hairbrush tool.

Shave's guides  have our  dynamics engine built in . From the  moment
you  create a guide you can  dynamically grab  it, move it,  shake  it
around...  no complicated mazes of menus and modes.

Skin Driven Dynamics
Shave's dynamics engine inherits  all its inertia  directly from
the skin  of your critter, NOT from general transformation. This means
that if  you morph,  move, or deform - the dynamics of the hair that
is emitted from that surface will accurately reflect the resultant
motion.

Integrated Surface Collision Engine  Shave's  dynamics  engine  also
includes full, lightning fast, surface collision.

Forces
We  actually  utilize  Maya's  own  force  fields and add them into
ours.

Dynamic Constraints
In  addition to  letting hair  flow free, you can also  constrain
any  guide vertex to the orientation of a surface.  This is not
only  useful  for doing  things like making pony-tails, but is also
a powerful modeling too for things like  braids. You can bend shave's
hair into any  shape you  can model.
